Electronic Control System Repair

SMS Equipment offers prompt, quality service for all electronic cards, panels and control cabinets.  We also repair G.E. transportation systems, A.I.D. Systems, Compusave and Vapor Speed Panels.

Field Services

SMS Equipment's Electrical Field department has the factory trained personnel to perform all running repairs on Komatsu electric drive trucks including truck controls and program upgrading.

We have the expertise and technical know how to perform electrical repairs and electrical maintenance on shovels, draglines and more.

Rotating Equipment Services

SMS Equipment's Reman Group reconditions the electrical rotating equipment for the Komatsu electric drive trucks.  Using Komatsu and GE factory trained technicians, along with ISO 9001 business practices, the units are returned to original manufacture specifications including technological improvements.  This business model is applied to Grid blower motors, main alternator power modules, and the AC or DC electric drive motors.

Our Reman Group uses factory reman specs and repair procedures to bring chopper modules, phase modules, auxilliary invertors, AFSE panels, ISO amp panel, gate drivers, rectifier panels and other electronic components back to factory specifications.  In addition, we repair and remanufacure GE Transportation systems.

The SMS reman group performs overhauls and repairs to the electronics related to electrical rotating equipment. Utilizing factory reman specs and repair procedures to bring chopper modules, phase modules, auxiliary invertors, AFSE panels, ISO amp panel, gate drivers, rectifier panels and other electronic components back to factory specifications.
